Cast the voice that carries the message.
Browse and audition voices, keep favorites, bring your own performance, or create a permitted custom voice. Apply the choice at the right scope, then synthesize to hear it in context.
Open the voice selector
Select the vocal paragraph or clip you want to cast, then open its voice control. The selector brings together:
- Library — the available voice catalog.
- Favorites — voices you want to revisit quickly.
- My Voices — voices owned or uploaded by your account.
- Search — narrow candidates by name or available metadata.
- Preview — audition source samples before applying.
- Similarity — look for alternatives related to a reference voice.
Choose with the script in mind
- Identify language, accent, audience, emotional role, and pace.
- Audition several voices on headphones.
- Apply a candidate to the intended vocal scope.
- Synthesize a representative paragraph.
- Judge the result with music, not in isolation.
Apply and replace a voice
A voice is connected to the spoken section and its vocal clip. Replacing it invalidates generated speech for that section, because the existing audio no longer matches the project settings.
- Confirm which paragraph or clip is selected.
- Apply the new voice.
- Look for the stale indicator.
- Synthesize again before final preview or export.
Upload a vocal performance
Use vocal upload when you already have a recording that belongs in the creative. Uploaded or imported speech is treated as recorded media, not as text that Voxify can automatically re-perform after a script edit.
Before upload, remove unnecessary silence, use a clean source file, and confirm that you hold all performer and usage rights.
Voice Design
When enabled for your account, Voice Design lets you describe characteristics and generate candidates before creating a reusable voice.
- Set the available design parameters and description.
- Generate candidates and audition them.
- Choose only a candidate that matches the intended language and use.
- Create and name the selected voice in My Voices.
- Test it on actual campaign copy.
Voice cloning
Voice cloning is available only where the service and your account permissions allow it. Follow the consent and sample-quality requirements shown in Studio.
Dynamic voice choices
A campaign can vary voice or other assets by a configured criterion. Keep a safe default, test every branch, and make sure all candidate voices are licensed and approved for the same delivery scope. See Dynamic assets.
Voice approval checklist
- Language and accent fit the audience.
- Brand, product, price, and place names are intelligible.
- The read fits the required duration without unnatural speed.
- Music does not mask consonants or disclaimers.
- Consent and commercial usage rights are recorded.
- All required dynamic alternatives have been auditioned.
