Cookie & Local Storage Policy
How Voxify Studio uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar browser mechanisms that let a site keep information on your device. Voxify Studio relies mainly on local/session storage for sign-in and preferences, and on third-party cookies set by analytics and content-delivery providers.
2. Categories we use
2.1 Strictly necessary (always on)
Required to run the Service and keep you signed in. These cannot be switched off. They are stored in your browser’s local or session storage, not transmitted as advertising identifiers.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| session_id | session storage | Keeps you authenticated | Until you sign out. Session storage is limited to the browsing session, so it is normally discarded when you close the tab or the browser — though your browser’s session-restore feature may bring it back. |
| account, user, subscription | session storage | Caches your account, profile role and plan for the UI | Same as session_id |
| token_id, project_id | session storage | Links the active project/session | Session |
| listing-nav, sidebar-collapsed, voxify-compact-lane-count | local storage | Remembers UI preferences (last panel, layout) | Until cleared |
2.2 Analytics (consent required)
| Name / provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_CQT0DME2ZH & related (Google Analytics 4 — Google Ireland Ltd) | Measures usage, page views and feature interactions to improve the Service. Property ID G-CQT0DME2ZH. Disabled on local/dev hosts. | Up to 2 years |
We rely on your consent for analytics. Google Analytics is not loaded at all until you accept it: the tag is injected only after you choose “Accept analytics” in our cookie banner, so no analytics cookie is set before then. If you reject, or simply dismiss the banner without choosing, nothing is loaded and no analytics cookie is set.
You can change your decision at any time — it is as easy to withdraw as it was to give. Manage cookie preferences. If you turn analytics off after having allowed it, we also delete the analytics cookies already stored in your browser.
2.3 Third-party content delivery
Some assets load from third-party CDNs that may set their own cookies or receive your IP for technical delivery: Google Fonts / fonts CDN (Google), Cloudflare and jsDelivr (icons/flags). We also retrieve approximate location from ipapi.co based on your IP at sign-in. See the Privacy Policy.
3. How to manage your choices
- Consent banner — where shown, use it to accept or reject non-essential technologies and to change your choice later.
- Browser controls — you can block or delete cookies and clear local/session storage in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage will prevent sign-in and break core features.
- Google Analytics opt-out — you can install Google’s opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
4. Changes
We may update this policy as our technologies change. We post the updated version with a new date.
